How to convert STL to STEP file using Autoconverter software step by step tutorial:

  1. To convert STL to STEP file please download & install Autoconverter software.
  2. Launch Autoconverter program using the new Windows menu shortcut.
  3. Click on the Open ribbon button & navigate to your STL file location.
  4. Press OK button to load your STL mesh into Autoconverter model space.
  5. Fix any STL mesh geometry defects for the successful STEP file conversion.
  6. Click on the Save As ribbon button to convert STL into STEP file format.
  7. Continue editing converted STEP file with your favorite CAD editor e.g. SolidWorks.
  8. The evaluation version of STL to STEP converter allows for 10 conversions only.
  9. The reverse conversion from STEP to STL file is also supported by Autoconverter.
