CSM File
The CSM (Character Studio Marker) file is the proprietary file format for Character Studio, a software developed by Autodesk for creating 3D animation content with an internal bone structure. Our software, Autoconverter and Automesher Application, are equipped to load and import CSM mesh data, thanks to the open asset import library. This specialized software enables you to effortlessly convert and save the imported character CSM data into your primary 3D file format, making it ready for processing in your preferred 3D modeling software.
3MF File
The 3MF (3D Manufacturing Format) is an open-source XML file format developed by the 3MF Consortium. It’s specifically designed to store three-dimensional triangles, along with additional properties such as color, transparency, or texture coordinates, catering to the needs of the 3D printing industry. The 3MF file format is considered a modern alternative to the legacy STL format for 3D printing. Our Autoconverter software and Automesher Application are capable of reading from and writing to the 3MF files, leveraging the open-source lib3mf library provided by the 3MF Consortium. However, please be aware that group hierarchies are not supported for 3MF files.
