CSM File
CSM (Character Studio Marker) file is a native file format to Character Studio software developed by Autodesk company for the 3D animation content with the internal bones structure. Autoconverter and Automesher Application, our CSM file converters can load and import CSM mesh data thanks to the open asset import library. With our specialised software the imported character CSM data can be easily converted and saved into your primary 3D file format and processed by your favorite 3D modeling software.
X3D File
X3D (Extensible 3D) is an open source and royalty free XML based file format developed and maintained by the Web3D Consortium to store two or three dimensional models together with the other visualization data e.g. light source, viewport info, camera properties, special effects and more. The X3D file format becomes an advanced extension and actually the replacement for the original VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) file format used mostly by the WEB applications. The Autoconverter and Automesher Application are our X3D file converters which allow you to import and export mesh entities from the X3D file. To optimize file size the binary X3DB file can be used instead of a default text based X3D file. The shapes in X3D files are always defined in meters therefore our X3D converters will make the necessary units conversion if required.
