SKP SKP SketchUp File

SKP (SketchUp) file format for a long period of time was maintained by Google, but currently it is actively developed by Trimble company. The SKP file allows to store named mesh groups with assigned transparent color or a surface material with a texture image. Please note however that Win32 build is not supported anymore from the SKP file version 16, therefore using Win64 build is recommended to work with the most recent SketchUp models. Using our Autoconverter software you can save SKP files to any file version you require, from the early SKP version 3 to the recent 2021.

X3D X3D File

X3D (Extensible 3D) is an open source and royalty free XML based file format developed and maintained by the Web3D Consortium to store two or three dimensional models together with the other visualization data e.g. light source, viewport info, camera properties, special effects and more. The X3D file format becomes an advanced extension and actually the replacement for the original VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) file format used mostly by the WEB applications. The Autoconverter and Automesher Application are our X3D file converters which allow you to import and export mesh entities from the X3D file. To optimize file size the binary X3DB file can be used instead of a default text based X3D file. The shapes in X3D files are always defined in meters therefore our X3D converters will make the necessary units conversion if required.
