X to AutoCAD
The following resources are provided for your reference, focusing on the interoperability and exchange between X and AutoCAD file formats. They are designed to assist you in the transition from X to AutoCAD file.
- Export OBJ, STL, 3DM, SKP, PLY, and Other 3D Files in AutoCAD
- Convert 3D Solid to Polyface Mesh in AutoCAD
- Integrating WMS Layers with AutoCAD
- Import 3D Model with Texture Images into AutoCAD
- 3D Modeling Capabilities in Georeferenced KML and KMZ Files
- Convert Solid, Surface, Polyface Mesh to Polygon Mesh in AutoCAD
X Direct3D File
The X (DirectX) file format is the original interchange format for DirectX technology, developed by Microsoft in 1995 alongside the release of Windows 95. The X file format can store mesh geometry along with material information, including texture images. With our Autoconverter and Automesher Application software products, you can effortlessly convert X files into your native 3D modeling environment. Additionally, our X file converters support reverse conversion, enabling you to convert your native files into the X file format.
AutoCAD Drawing
AutoCAD, a product of Autodesk, is a leading CAD (Computer Aided Design) software program. It supports the native DWG drawing format, which is capable of containing both 2D and 3D geometry data, along with additional project metadata. Our AutoCAD add-ons, Automesher Application and Automapki Application, enable seamless import and export from a wide range of external file formats directly into AutoCAD’s drawing model space. To ensure optimal integration with the AutoCAD environment and efficient translation from external 3D and GIS file formats, we utilize the advanced ObjectARX customization technology for AutoCAD provided by Autodesk.
