GeoJSON Features Collection
GeoJSON is a geospatial data interchange file format that uses JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) syntax to store collections of geographic features along with their custom properties. The GeoJSON file format can accommodate point, line string, polygon, and multi-geometry representations defined in the WGS84 (World Geodetic System) spatial reference system. It’s important to note that unlike other map file formats, GeoJSON does not provide a means to define the appearance or style of geographic features. Our Automapki Application add-on for AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and ZWCAD, enables the seamless import of GeoJSON maps into DWG model space. Additionally, our mapping application allows you to export existing DWG maps to GeoJSON files, for further processing in your preferred GIS environment.
KMZ Google Earth Placemark
The KMZ (Google Earth Placemark) file format, designed for use with Google Earth and Google Earth Pro, offers an optimized method for storing geographical data, including point, line string, and polygon geometries. This efficiency is achieved through the use of ZIP file compression, which distinguishes it from the standard KML file format. Our Automapki Application, compatible with AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and ZWCAD, allows for the import of KMZ maps into the DWG model space, accurately recreating every point, line string, polygon, and Collada DAE model geometry from the compressed KMZ file. In addition, our Automapki Application provides the ability to export your point, polygon, curve, and image DWG drawing entities to the compressed KMZ file format.
