TER to DWG
The following resources are provided for your reference, focusing on the interoperability and exchange between TER and DWG files. They are designed to assist you in the transition from TER to DWG file.
- Automesher and Automapki Applications Support ZWCAD 2024
- Import STEP, STL, OBJ, 3DM, SKP, and Other 3D Files in AutoCAD
- Import KML Google Earth Map into DWG AutoCAD
- Convert Faces, Polygon, and Polyface Mesh to Solid in AutoCAD
- Enhance BricsCAD V24 with Automesher and Automapki Applications
- SketchUp SKP Components and AutoCAD DWG Blocks
TER Terragen File
The TER (Terragen Terrain File) is a proprietary file format native to Terragen, a software used for creating natural terrain scenery. This format provides an efficient way to describe triangular or quad mesh terrain with additional metadata, making it particularly useful in the terrain recognition industry. Both of our TER file converters, Autoconverter and Automesher Application, are capable of reading and importing TER terrain data, thanks to the open asset import library. These conversion tools allow for the seamless conversion of terrains from TER files into various other 3D file formats.
DWG Drawing
The DWG (AutoCAD Drawing) binary file format, developed by Autodesk for AutoCAD, is also supported by other software packages such as ZWCAD, BricsCAD, and IntelliCAD. As a result, DWG files have become the industry standard in CAD. Our add-ons, Automesher Application and Automapki Application, for your DWG editor, enable you to effortlessly convert DWG drawing entities into various 3D and GIS file formats. This facilitates seamless sharing of your AutoCAD designs across different platforms and applications.
