KML to JSON
Please find below the list of our other useful resources related to the KML and JSON interoperability and exchange that can help you with the KML to JSON conversion.
- Import and export of map files in AutoCAD
- Import and export STL, OBJ, 3DS, PLY, 3DM, SKP, IGES and STEP files
- Convert 3D mesh files in the batch mode
- Automesher desktop application for Windows to convert 3D file formats
KML Google Earth
KML (Keyhole Markup Language) file format for Google Earth and Google Earth Pro allows you to store geographical data including point, line string and polygon geometry in the XML textual format. Automapki Application for AutoCAD, BricsCAD and ZWCAD enables you to import KML maps into DWG model space and recreate every point, line string, polygon and Collada DAE model geometry saved in the KML file. The longitude and latitude KML coordinates are automatically converted to your geospatial coordinate reference system defined in the DWG drawing. Automapki Application can also export your point, polygon, curve and image DWG drawing entities to KML file format which can be processed further in Google Earth.
JSON CityJSON File
JSON (CityJSON) file format is an optimized version of CityGML OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) standard file format for storing and exchanging 3D city models and landscapes. The CityJSON file format supports city objects names, objects nested hierarchy, reusable geometry component instances and custom materials with texture images. The Autoconverter software, our CityJSON file converter, allows you to read and write CityJSON JSON geometries with the custom attributes and convert between other common 3D mesh file formats.
