X to SAT
Please find below the list of our other useful resources related to X and SAT interoperability and exchange that could help you with the X to SAT conversion.
X Direct3D File
X (DirectX) file is the original interchange file format for DirectX technology developed by Microsoft back in 1995 with the Windows 95 release. The X file format is capable of storing mesh geometry together with the material information including the texture images. You can convert X files into your native 3D modeling environment with Autoconverter and Automesher Application software. The reverse conversion from your native file into X file format is also possible and supported by our dedicated X file converters.
SAT ACIS File
SAT (Standard ACIS Text) is an ASCII file format to store 3D model geometry that precisely describes the real objects, developed and maintained up till now by the Spatial company. The SAT file format is supported by the majority of 3D modeling and CAD software and can be used to successfully exchange 3D data between different systems, e.g. AutoCAD & Solidworks. Our Autoconverter and Automesher Application software allow you to convert mesh based geometry to a true solid shape saved in the SAT file.
