BLEND to 3MF
Please find below the list of our other useful resources related to the BLEND and 3MF interoperability and exchange that can help you with the BLEND to 3MF conversion.
- Convert 3D mesh files in the batch mode
- Automesher desktop application for Windows to convert 3D file formats
BLEND File
BLEND (Blender) is a native file format for the open source Blender software, which is used to create advanced 3D content. The BLEND file can store 3D triangular mesh data, light sources, object animation key frames, texture UV mapping, and other data required to create stunning 3D visualizations and animations. You can use our Autoconverter or Automesher Application converters to import and convert BLEND files into your native modeling environment. These converters will enable you to use and process BLEND files outside the native Blender environment. However, please note that at the moment we don't support exporting your 3D projects to the BLEND file format, which you could edit further with the Blender software.
3MF File
3MF (3D Manufacturing Format) is an open source XML file format developed by the 3MF Consortium to store three dimensional triangles with additional properties e.g. color, transparency or texture coordinates for the 3D printing industry. The 3MF file format becomes a modern replacement for the original STL 3D printing file format. Autoconverter or Automesher Application our 3MF file converters can read and write to and from 3MF file format thanks to the open source lib3mf library provided by the 3MF Consortium. However currently we do not support groups hierarchy for 3MF files.
