JSON to 3DM
Below, you'll discover a compendium of resources dedicated to the interoperability and exchange of JSON and 3DM file formats. These will aid in the smooth conversion from JSON to 3DM file.
- Convert SketchUp SKP Models with Component Instances to STEP
- Convert 3D Mesh Files in the Batch Mode
- Automesher Desktop Application for Windows to Convert 3D File Formats
- Explode Component Instances into Mesh Groups
- Convert 3D Mesh Files from the Command Line
- Autoconverter Uses Vertex Normals to Display Smooth Meshes
CityJSON File
JSON (CityJSON) is an optimized version of the CityGML OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) file format, designed for the efficient storage and exchange of 3D city models and landscapes. The CityJSON file format supports city object names, nested hierarchy, reusable geometry component instances, and custom materials with texture images. Our Autoconverter JSON file converter facilitates seamless reading and writing of CityJSON JSON geometries with custom attributes. It also allows for smooth conversion between other common 3D mesh file formats.
3DM Rhino File
The 3DM (Rhino) is a native file format for Rhinoceros software, which allows for the storage of a variety of 3D geometry data types, including smooth NURBS surfaces, triangular meshes, points, and curves. However, our Autoconverter software exports and saves only polygonal meshes in the 3DM files. In contrast, our Autoshaper product enables the export of NURBS solids, providing a precise representation of your 3D model. These invaluable 3DM file converters also offer the flexibility to save Rhino files in various 3DM file versions, ranging from Rhino 2.X to the most recent Rhino 8.X version.
