WEB Maps to DXF
Please find below the list of our other useful resources related to the WEB Maps and DXF interoperability and exchange that can help you with the WEB Maps to DXF conversion.
WEB Maps
The web maps providers e.g. MapQuest, Open Aerial, Open Street Map, Google Maps or Bing Maps serve satellite, aerial or terrain map tiles to be used over the Internet. It is very common to use such map images as a background for a proprietary GIS data, e.g. telecommunication cables network, railway tracks or cadastral survey. Our Automapki Application for AutoCAD, BricsCAD and ZWCAD allows you to insert selected web map images into a DWG document and create a satellite or aerial background for your GIS project.
DXF AutoCAD File
DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) is an ASCII file format developed and maintained up until now by the Autodesk company to exchange DWG drawing data between AutoCAD and the other programs as the native DWG file format is proprietary and requires a license to use. Our Autoconverter and Automesher Application software allow you to convert 3D meshes to a set of DXF faces placed in the colored layers which you can process further with your DWG editor.
